A few things worth knowing
Can I calculate a full 100% discount?
Yes. A 100% discount makes the final price zero. Values above 100% and negative discounts are not accepted.
How is the discount rounded?
The discount amount is rounded to the nearest cent, with half a cent rounded up, then subtracted from the original price. This keeps the original price equal to the discount plus the final price.
Does this support multiple discounts?
This tool applies one percentage discount. Successive discounts apply to the remaining price and are not generally the same as adding the percentages together.
